Our kennel, Valhalla Wolf, was established in May 2022 in Wojakowa (Brzeski district, Małopolskie province). We are registered with the Związek Kynologiczny w Polsce, which is under the International Canine Federation (FCI).
I'm Natalia Kosakowska and I'm the founder of the kennel, and my husband, Wojciech, supports and assists me. Dogs and working with them have been our passion since our earliest years, which is why we continuously strive to expand our knowledge and qualifications by participating in various training and exhibitions related to health and behavior, as well as by engaging in training sessions with qualified dog trainers. Our goal is to create a kennel based on love, passion, and understanding of the needs required by the wonderful Eurasier breed.
Our vision for the kennel was to create a place where dogs are fully-fledged family members, well-socialized and healthy, possessing the breed's characteristic traits. The motivation to establish Valhalla Wolf was to strengthen desired characteristics, as well as to introduce new genes by expanding the population of this rare breed in Poland.
We became acquainted with the Eurasier breed in 2019, and in 2020, a wonderful Dobrusia - Dobrawa Wolf Chow from Krakow joined our family. She immediately endeared herself to us and became a faithful and irreplaceable friend and travel companion. It was thanks to her that we decided to take the next step, which was to establish the kennel and introduce people to this rare but amazing breed.
Breeding healthy, balanced, and beautiful Eurasiers that meet the breed standards.
Preparing puppies to be perfect companions for their new families, filled with love, joy, and loyalty.
Promoting the breed through participation in national and international shows, as well as through social media.
Carefully selecting new families through observing each puppy’s character and predispositions, as well as the preferences of the new homes.
At our home kennel, Valhalla Wolf, we take great care of the health and well-being of our dogs. We regularly conduct veterinary checks, monitor their health, and provide the best medical care as needed. Our dogs are fed high-quality food and also receive supplements that support their development and health. We do not forget about ensuring an adequate amount of physical activity, tailored to their age and needs, which aids in maintaining their fitness and good well-being.
Choosing dogs for our breeding program requires careful selection. We focus on individuals that display the best traits of the Eurasier breed - in terms of health, character, and also appearance. We thoroughly analyze their pedigrees, familiarize ourselves with their breeding lines, and in case of any doubts, we consult with breeding specialists or other breeders in the breed.
Before allowing a dog to breed, we conduct specialized tests such as hip and elbow X-rays, patella evaluations, and general health checks including thyroid, liver, and heart to confirm the high health standard of our dogs and ensure the transmission of these genes to the next generation. We monitor the health of their teeth as well. All these health tests aim to ensure the high standard of our dogs' health and to pass on these good genes to the next generation.
Puppy rearing starts from the careful care of the pregnant female, who is provided with comfortable conditions and a proper diet. After birth, the puppies stay close to us in a warm, quiet, and safe environment. The mother has access to her puppies, and we monitor their weight and development, ensuring all necessary vaccinations and deworming, as well as providing the best possible socialization. We make sure our puppies are familiarized from the beginning with various sounds, smells, and surfaces. They spend time with people and other household animals, which helps them gain proper social skills. Each litter has access to a garden where they can explore fully, and when they grow up, they are taken on short trips outside the home to get used to different environments and situations, and to become accustomed to car rides.
To new owners of our puppies, we offer support and contact with us at any time of day or night regarding:
Advice concerning the first days in the new home,
Information on nutrition, grooming, and health care of the puppies,
Support in the area of socialization and basic training,
Possibility of veterinary consultations or referrals to recommended specialists.
We ensure regular contact with the owners of our dogs to stay updated and offer our help. We are available by phone, email, and through social media (Facebook, Instagram).
